What does a great Snr Software Engineer (Data Streaming) do? Deliver resilient and high-volume technology solutions built in Java & Spring framework. Build Industry standard and resilient Data streaming solution using technologies like Kafka and Snowflake. Help in designing data pipelines which are scalable, both with new business requirements as well as data volume requirements in future. Understands and develop a fault tolerant application with error handling mechanisms for minimum down time in production. Use your knowledge of coding techniques to contribute to the reliability, maintainability, readability, simplicity, performance, security(understanding of OWASP) and testability of software. Work within various database technologies including both relational and non-relational implementations (SQL and NoSQL) Works with DevOps specialists to design monitoring dashboards and alerts for an effective monitoring and alerting setup for the team. Provide knowledge transfer; actively support and educate internal and external team members. What you will need to have: Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in designing, developing and implementing software applications in Agile environment. Recent experience working with teams delivering with Java/Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot Great knowledge of messaging Architectures including Kafka, MQ and ESB technologies. 4+ years hands-on software development experience designing, writing, debugging, and testing object-oriented code. 5+years working on high volume transactional systems including performance tuning. Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization. An advanced understanding of pattern languages & software algorithms. A high level of proficiency working with modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices. Experience with API integrations & performance tuning. Experience with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, AWS. Excellent knowledge of OAuth2, SSO and OIDC security standard flow. Excellent knowledge of API security patterns and the Security-OWASP Top 10.
