Senior Buyer and Own Brand Category Manager Location: Dublin Type: Permanent Category: Supply Chain, Healthcare Salary: DOE "Exciting Career Opportunity - Join our client's Consumer Business Unit! Are you ready for a thrilling journey in the dynamic world of consumer retail? My client is offering an exceptional opportunity for a driven and accomplished individual to join our rapidly growing Consumer Business unit. As a senior member of the management team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Consumer retail strategy. What You'll Do: Own Brand Innovation: Take the lead in revolutionizing our Own Brand category by driving New Product Development (NPD) goals. Collaborate with brands to secure top-notch components, materials, and suppliers. Spot New Possibilities: Work closely with the BU Manager, Marketing, Sales, and Trading teams to uncover untapped potential in the market and identify new products and range opportunities for our Own Brand products. Strengthen Supplier Relationships: Cultivate strong and lasting bonds with strategic agency-branded suppliers/partners. Be the primary contact for the Wellness category, and ensure long-term supply agreements that prioritise best-in-class quality, service, and profitability. Driving Sales and Awareness: Collaborate with Key Account Managers, awareness and sales of your category. Conduct sales training and customer outreach to bolster brand recognition. Competitive Edge: Stay ahead of the competition by closely monitoring their product offerings and pricing. Develop and execute competitive pricing strategies and compelling promotional plans for our customers. Full Ownership of P&L: Take end-to-end responsibility for the Own Brand P&L, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness. Timely Availability of Products: Work closely with cross-functional teams to forecast and manage stock levels, ensuring products are readily available to meet retailer range windows and promotional timelines. Champion Business Growth: Actively participate in business development and project initiatives, contributing your expertise to drive success.
