General Manager – Roof Trusses Job Title: General Manager – Roof Trusses Job reference Number: (phone number removed) Industry Sector: Timber, Timber Frame, Trusses, Roof Trusses, Truss, Timber Trusses, Truss Manufacturer, General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales, Design, Manufacturer, Production Location: Cork Remuneration: €60,000 - €70,000 + 10% bonus (uncapped) Benefits: Company vehicle and full comprehensive benefits package The role of the General Manager – Roof Trusses will involve: * General Manager position within the roof truss production market sector * Managing the Production, Design, Sales, Quality, Logistics and Safety of the site * Liaising regularly with design, operations and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery * Ensuring that communication channels are utilised with clients to provide quotes, scheduling production, and delivery of orders * Manage the ERP/CRM systems and ensure the sales team maintains customer data * Oversee inventory management, operation schedules and manufacturing activities * Responsible for the recruitment, training and development of all employees * Work closely with production team to ensure that they’re operating in an efficient and profitable manor * Overall management of P&L for all budgeting, forecasting and costs * Produce and develop weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance reports * Circa 15 direct reports * 100% site based role (8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday) The ideal applicant will be a General Manager – Roof Trusses experience with: * Must have General Manager or Operations Manager experience within a production / manufacturing environment * Must have a sound technical knowledge of roof trusses or timber frame market sector * Must have an in-depth knowledge and experience of ERP and/or CRM systems * Experienced in overseeing P&L * Knowledge of safety, quality and inventory management * Demonstrable experience of managing and developing direct reports * The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required * IT literate (MS Office) * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Results driven Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, Construction Vacancies and Management positions within the building industry in sectors such as: Timber, Timber Frame, Trusses, Roof Trusses, Truss, Timber Trusses, Truss Manufacturer, General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales, Design, Manufacturer, Production
