Procurement Specialist - LeixlipOne of the largest providers of industrial, medical and special gases in the UK and Ireland is looking to add a Procurement Specialist to their team. The role will be based on the Intel site in Leixlip in North Dublin and will be reporting to commercial manager. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing / logistics background with an understanding of financial activities or with experience of import and export activities. This role has become available as a direct result of continued growth within the organisation.Principal responsibilities· Cost & Sales Master management through update and revision control· Vendor PO follow up· Billing audit through Rootstock against agreed buy and sell rates· Support month end billing cycle where vendor or customer queries exist· Co-ordination of PO requests for month end reconciliations· Ensure rate file effective & expiry dates are current and up to date on SharePoint· Archive outdated commercial buy and sell rates to SharePoint· Follow up with vendors for rate file updates· Checking of queried vendor invoices where ongoing disputes exist· Consolidation of Trucking Rates to the master file· Assist with follow up with operational team on month end billing cycle· Production of commercial KPIs· Creation of Power Point slides for SLT/QBR· Support projects related to operational, productivity, cost improvement, process optimisation· Update or create WIs/SoPs for new or revised business processesRequirements·2 years experience in a similar role ·Experience in working with suppliers·Understanding of the procurement process·Ability to think ahead and plan accordingly utilising financial practices·Practical problem-solving ability·Credible communication and negotiation skills at all levels·Ability to identify, develop and implement innovative ideas·Ability to understand, analyse and seek to improve existing cost and sales information ·An understanding of the principles of purchasing and stock control.·Experience in Supply Chain processes ·Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel using Formulae. ·Excellent Communication SkillsPlease feel free to reach out to me to discuss this role
