Head of Planning (Supply Chain) CAVAN Teamworx are now seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join this team as the Head of Planning. This critical leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency within the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and execute comprehensive plans that align with the companies objectives and drive sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities   Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to support the companies long-term objectives, taking into account market trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities. Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources, including land, labor, and capital, to optimize efficiency and maximize returns across all aspects of the business. Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and streamline workflows to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Risk Management: Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the companies interests and ensure continuity of operations. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and ensure that all planning activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups, to foster positive relationships and support mutual objectives. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress against strategic goals, and provide regular reports to senior management. Qualifications ·        Degree in relevant Food, Supply Chain or Operations Management desired but not essential. ·        Expertise and track record in FMCG, planning and live operations ·        Experience in strategic planning ·        Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. ·        Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. ·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. ·        -Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and S&OP principles How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and suitability for the role to Denise Brady, Managing Director or Maurice Powell, Commercial Director.
