If you are swift to action, confident to lead, willing to collaborate, and curious about what science can do, then you’re our kind of person.The successful Reward Partner will be accountable for delivering all end-to-end reward activities (cyclical and project) in line with global standards, policies and governance as well as being the technical lead on all reward change activities in that country, working with the regional Reward Centres of Excellence as necessary.This opportunity will also work collaboratively with colleagues across both AstraZeneca and Alexion, our Rare Disease Unit to provide support for reward solutions which assist business delivery. Drive country and functional alignment to global reward policies, as well as providing analytical insight for any review of reward provision, including benefits.Lead the planning for all annual reward activities as well as providing guidance on the implementation of global governance.Manage the delivery of all cyclical total reward activities ensuring alignment to the reward value proposition (for example, our Rewarding Performance Development process (the annual base pay, bonus, long-term incentives cycle) and supplier review for the country/area.Partner with Benefit providers in delivery of core employee benefit offeringsSupport local and global Reward & Inclusion COE priorities as required, primarily on a project basis.Building leaders’ understanding of AZ’s total reward philosophy and approach, providing them with proactive insight to drive adoption of total reward tools through all business activities, along with appropriate level of challenge to drive continual improvement.Responsible for managing budgets across areas of responsibility required for delivery of all reward programmes.Proactively planning the delivery of consistent global tools and approaches across all teams and markets, ensuring any total reward changes in the relevant country and/or functional area are aligned with global must win priorities, challenging bespoke requests as appropriateManage the integration of global reward programmes into local policies, practices and total reward education.Develop strong partnerships with third party reward providers in line with AZ’s sustainability and compliance agendas to ensure proactive management of their performance.Ensure local reward policies adhere with local regulatory, legal and best practice approaches and align to global total reward policies. Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence and HR Business Partners in ensuring AZ competes effectively for talent.Expert knowledge of the development and delivery of total reward policies (including well-being), from design to delivery, embedding change through the organisationWell-developed people skills and ability to engage.Significant experience in delivering end-to-end total reward in a large, complex global organisation.Project management expertiseExcellent analytical skills with the ability to provide insight based on business need.Expert knowledge of the development and delivery of total reward policies (including well-being), from design to delivery, embedding change through the organisationEvidence of leading consultation on all elements of total reward (including well-being) across employee consultation groups (including Unions / Works Councils)Experience of developing reward knowledge and expertise across HR, reward, managers and employeesExperience of using AI and ways to deliver value through digitalisation.Post Graduate Qualification in Reward or HR.Understanding and keen interest in inclusion and diversity and ways in which reward can make a difference to the organisational agenda.Experience of leading and managing teams (matrix or direct).At AstraZeneca, we're dedicated to being a Great Place to Work.
