Financial Controller

An opportunity has arisen at Covert Security Consultants, CSC, in Naas, Co. Kildare for an experienced Financial Controller.As a financial controller, you will oversee the accounts department providing financial expertise to enable the successful implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives while maximizing the return on investment.In addition, the financial controller creates and executes a business plan that is aligned with the business, and brand’s business strategy and focuses on the execution of financial and accounting activities and the delivery of desirable financial results. This is an office based role.The ideal candidate will: Have good knowledge of the security sectorHave a minimum of 5 years experience in a finance capacity within the security sector.Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies & equipment is desirable. Experience of Sage 50 Professional, Sage Payroll and EZ Management is essential.Be proficient in Excel and WordBe a good team leaderHave good communication skills Key Responsibilities:Monthly forecasting and management of business through profit forecast in conjunction with the CEO/ Managing Director.Annual BudgetingMonthly profit and loss account, Balance sheets and bank reconciliationResponsible for financial/ internal controlsWorking as part of the business’s exec teamManagement of the finance teamLiaising with 3rd parties as required i.e. suppliersParticipation to various meetings with CEO / Managing Director and senior team members to plan and discuss various issues both at strategic and management level.Hands on involvement in all financial matters when and where requiredProblem solvingTake responsibility for training team leadersVariance analysisCash Flow AnalysisPreparation for annual audit packTo build strong relationship with key members of the operations teamEnsure all companies on business ledger have adequate credit and at no point exceed credit limit.
