We invite applications for the Licenced Engineer position, for Bristow Ireland Limited (BIL).Aircraft, engine or component certifying staff and fitters (both in hangars and workshops), are responsible to their supervisor for the following: Acting in support of Chief Engineer responsibilities, ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and other applicable Company Procedures, such as Maintenance Procedures, Ground Operations and Health and Safety manuals;The safe, correct and timely completion of all work assigned to them; The reporting of any accident, incident or lapse in quality that they observe or encounter;Ensuring their ongoing competency to carry out their duties by adherence to MOE procedures through training and performance assessments; (Certifying staff only); the determination of when an aircraft and/or component is or is not ready for release to service;(Certifying staff only); Issuing of certificate of release to service within the scope of their authorisation as required, in accordance with MOE procedures;(B2 Only) Attain Daily/Pre-Flight Inspection approvals, alongside Independent Inspections for the relevant aircraft type; (Cat C Only) Supervise and manage Base Maintenance tasks and sign CRS; Carry out duties related to firefighting covered as required by the operational circumstances;Carry out line maintenance and Operational Line support tasks as assigned by management ;Carry out ramp duties in accordance with ground operations procedures; Coordinate with Flight Operations with respect daily aircraft availability and requirements; Liaise with Continued Airworthiness Organisation (CAMO) on technical queries and HUMS support; Responsible for refuelling aircraft iaw standard operating procedures;Accept goods in and process goods out in the absence of a store person; Carry out and be responsible for additional secondary duties as required by management such as Calibration of Tooling, H&S requirements, Document Control, GSE Servicing; Support the Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager to setup and maintain the Part 145 facility and base infrastructure to an acceptable standard. Qualifications:Holder of EASA Category B1 or B2 maintenance license; Evidence of experience in role; AW189 Type rated (preferred) – type courses availableDriving License. Experience:Strong knowledge of Bristow procedures (preferable;) Strong understanding of the regulatory framework. Skills:Proficient with IT systems, such as in Microsoft office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other web-based software;Strong organisational skills; Attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication; Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet operational goals; Integrity; Ability to work alone, or as part of a wider team; Problem Solving- effectively diagnose and resolve faults and issues using spares efficiently; Technical Knowledge; Leadership- ability to lead shift handovers and tasks effectively; Time Management.All applicants be currently eligible to work and live in the Ireland.
