Your new company Your new company are a leading organisation within the utilities industry. They are committed to growth, innovation and sustainability continues to be top of their agenda. They now require a Supply Chain Buyer to join their team in Cork on a temporary basis.Your new role You will assist the Category Manager with various administrative tasks such as coordinating supplier and internal stakeholder meetings, and inputting into tender documentation. You will be trained to run tenders off framework agreements and review tender documentation. You will also participate in sustainability meetings with external and internal stakeholders, process purchase requisitions, and take notes in meetings. What you'll need to succeed You will have a buying background and knowledge of legal or engineering house/manufacturing. Public procurement experience is desirable but not required. You will have excellent administrative skills in Excel/Word and be comfortable using various systems such as SAP/Oracle. .You will need to be proficient in editing spelling/formatting in order to update the Tender Tracking platform. You will possess strong organisational skills, be a self-starter and able to take ownership of tasks. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks running simultaneously.
