We are looking to speak with dedicated and passionate qualified Healthcare Workers interested in the role of Care Supervisor.</p> <p>If you are a qualified care assistant and ready to step up to the role of supervisor in the North Dublin area.</p> <p>Key requirements</p> <ul> <li>2 years experience in Health Care or Social Care setting</li> <li>Full QQI Level 5</li> <li>Full Clean driving license</li> <li>Patient manual handling (will be provided)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct care supervision visits</li> <li>Conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.</li> <li>Oversee the accurate maintenance of supervision records.</li> <li>Participate in care activities as part of the care supervision process.</li> <li>Employ a best practice approach in the care of our clients.</li> <li>Support and supervise our carers to deliver the best possible care.</li> <li>Arrange to meet potential new clients and their families and carry out assessments to include care needs and health and safety risk assessment.</li> <li>Devise care plans and work closely with the scheduling team to ensure the appropriate care team member is assigned to each client. Carry out 5 hours of shadow calls with new staff.</li> <li>Cover sick leave, annual leave, or any emergency required by the scheduling team. ·</li> <li>Conduct client-to-HCA introductions to clients (for High-dependency clients).</li> <li>For more complex home care clients, provide instruction to the HCA team on the use of hoist, catheter, stoma, peg feeding, etc.</li> <li>Through our Quality Assurance visits, ensure clients' care plans are in line with their care needs, following up with family and healthcare professional team as appropriate.</li> <li>Manage risks arising from care practice such as stoma/medication/PEG/complex cases.</li> <li>Responsible for escalating risks to the National Clinical Lead where required.</li> <li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with all clients through Quality Assurance (QA) visits, phone calls, and special events.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Perks of the job:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent rates of pay</li> <li>Weekly Pay</li> <li>Fuel Card</li> <li>Ongoing Additional Training Support</li> <li>Subsidized College Fee for QQI Modules</li> <li>Dedicated Care Manager</li> </ul>
