The Worldwide Software Applications Manager will lead a skilled team of engineers helping to develop and integrate BMS software solutions for our customers.Job ActivitiesHere are some of the important activities the software applications manager will lead.Understand complex Automotive OEM and Tier1 application ecosystems and set strategy to support the integration of ADI system and software products for our worldwide customersWork closely with BMS development subteams to drive new product requirements from customer needs.Drive strategy for how to optimize support infrastructureDevelop proof-of-concept demos, system prototype software stacks, and software tools (e.g., GUIs, debuggers) to enable software integration and evaluation of BMS products in customers’ systemsDevelop prototype system control algorithmsAnalysis, modelling, and simulation of system operationCandidate Attributes:BS or MS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer ScienceLove of learning and problem-solvingEnthusiasm for helping customers and colleaguesKnowledge in one or more of the following areas will make you stand out, but isn’t requiredAutomotive or Industrial system and software design, processes, and platforms (ASPICE, AUTOSAR, Popular Firmware Toolchains, etc.)Battery chemistries, operating characteristics, and state algorithms (SOC, SOH, etc.)Functional Safety Design Considerations (ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or similar)System modelling and simulations (Matlab, Simulink, Spice, Multi-physics tool, etc)Experience in real-time embedded C/C++ software development.Working knowledge of pythonComfortable working with embedded system hardwareWhy you will like working at ADI:We are an innovation and market leaderWe place great value on individual judgment.We allow our employees the freedom to explore new ideas and the autonomy to determine how to best achieve business goals and objectives.We emphasize professional development and mentoring.Above all, we recognize that the personal goals of our employees and the company’s goals are closely related and must support each other.Note: This position may require travel (typically 5%)#LI-CO1Job Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the timeShift Type: 1st Shift/Days
