A senior staff position responsible for implementing, testing, certifying, and problem support/resolution of FIX Connections for Charles River Network Clients.Responsibilities:Sustaining a “five nines” level of availability for Charles River Network Clients.Working with Clients, internal Charles River colleagues, and network vendor(s) to perform the following service-related functions:Requirements solicitation, Design, and provisioning of FIX Order FlowTesting and certificationGo-live implementationOn-going changes and enhancementsProblem troubleshooting, support, and resolutionOccasional pre-sales supportEscalation point for FIX Support (Level 1) Support DeskWorking with vendors as partners to deliver a tightly integrated, seamless service to Charles River Network ClientsParticipation in the development and on-going refinement, enhancement and continuous process improvement of all operational support procedures essential to the cost-effective delivery of network services.Participation in the investigation, implementation, and operation of 3rd party tools to enhance/improve, automate, and streamline the delivery of network services.Requirements:In depth experience in all aspects of FIX (Financial Information eXchange) – capabilities, configuration, testing, certification, troubleshooting, industry trends.Proven ability to work in a mission critical operations and support environment.Good overall knowledge and understanding of Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN).Proven ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.Periodic off-hours support.Working hours -Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years experience in the securities trading industry and minimum of 3 years experience with FIX administration and support.Excellent customer service skills, technical troubleshooting skills, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.A background in portfolio management and trading system applications is preferred.About State StreetWhat we do.
