Operations Controller

Role Description As an Operations Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring activities across the Optinergy power-producing fleet. You will work within a customer service framework, ensuring safe site operations and maintaining accurate performance records. Please note this position will involve a 24/7 shift pattern, with potential for emergency or holiday coverage. Key Responsibilities Monitor and address real-time faults to optimize energy output. Ensure safe transfer of control under Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR). Keep track of adverse weather conditions and issue necessary alerts. Generate reports from complex data sets for internal and external use. Serve as an emergency contact, coordinating appropriate responses. Update third-party energy trading systems in real-time. Support other health and safety, IT, and operational tasks as needed. Be the primary point of contact for management queries. Ensure seamless shift handovers and keep detailed records of ongoing issues. Requirements Proven experience in a customer-facing role. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule. Keen interest in renewable energy or a related engineering/technology field. Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, flexible work environment. Ability to maintain focus for extended periods and perform under pressure.
