The Data Quality - Senior Analyst role is part of the newly established Data and Analytics team, reporting to the Head of Data Governance and Data Management. The role will include leading the enhancement of data quality within Davy, identifying areas for continued progress in delivering trustworthy data that delivers value to the business and key stakeholders. Critical focus is needed on developing and embedding a data quality framework including standards, targets, root cause analysis of gaps, developing remediation plans as well as leading outcome oriented cross-functional working groups. Key Responsibilities Support an enterprise-wide programme to transform data practices within Davy ensuring data is trustworthy and can be used effectively to deliver stakeholder value. Working closely with business, operations and technology, identify and lead initiatives for sustainable and measurable data quality improvements across people, process and technology Concisely communicate impacts, outcomes and benefits when proposing resolutions to business needs to support the prioritisation decision-making process Lead sustainable improvement in the ongoing stewardship of critical data across the organisation Develop and produce high quality MI reporting progress and KPI’s Requirements Key Requirements 5+ years’ experience in a data quality improvement environment Academic background in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other comparable quantitative disciplines) Deep knowledge and understanding of the data quality challenges and opportunities organisations face and approaches to sustainably addressing these Experience and understanding of the regulatory data protection framework (e.g., GDPR) in which Financial Services firms operate is a distinct advantage Demonstrated competence and understanding of concepts pertaining to Data Management, Data Governance, Data Policy, Data Lineage, Data Models, Data Risk and Control Frameworks, Data Literacy, Reference Data Management, Metadata Management Strong experience in supporting outcome focused change delivered in an agile manner with cross-organisation collaboration Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work and lead independently, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines Davy is an equal opportunities employer and we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
