Park Elliott is delighted to be partnering with a leading Renewable Energy Company based in Monaghan for the recruitment of an Installation Manager to join their expanding team. With a huge pipeline of projects for the years ahead, this solar expert has an excellent reputation for delivering thousands of solar panels to the domestic and commercial market all across the Island of Ireland Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end operations of domestic solar projects, from planning to installation and maintenance. Lead a team of technicians, project coordinators, and other operational staff aligned with company values. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to share and receive feedback. Provide coaching and act as a point of escalation as needed for Team Leads. Delegate tasks or deliverables across the team as appropriate. Monitor team performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to address gaps as appropriate. Responsible for understanding motivation and engagement levels across the team and working with the team to maintain this. Foster and support your team's professional growth and development. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure efficient project scheduling and customer satisfaction. Work with peers to develop and implement standard operating procedures for installation, quality control, and safety protocols. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in operations. Identify areas for process optimization and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project status, performance, and key metrics, flagging where there is a risk to completing a project. Skills & Attributes: Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven experience in the solar industry, preferably in residential solar operations or project management. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team while holding them accountable. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Sound knowledge of solar energy systems, installation practices, and relevant regulations. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
