Evening Public Area Assistant

The Rose Hotel is a 4 star hotel, located in Tralee, Co Kerry. We are open all year round and have 161 bedrooms, restaurants, bar, meeting rooms, function room, gym and spa The role of Evening public area cleaner commences at 2.30pm daily. Main duties of the role are as follows:         To service the allocated number of departure and stayover bedrooms as instructed on a daily basis         If there is a late departure, this room is not be to cleaned unless the room can be resold         To service all guest bedrooms are serviced to the agreed standard         To ensure that all special requirements in bedrooms are in place for guests' arrival         To report any maintenance issues in bedrooms and public areas immediately         To ensure that the turndown service is done on a daily basis for the required rooms         To clean all allocated public areas of the hotel         To clean and maintain all public toilets on a daily basis         To clean and maintain all employee locker rooms and toilets         To keep all pantries clean and tidy and free from all hazards         To ensure that linen is stored correctly and safely         To launder any items in house as instructed         To clean and maintain all guest corridors and lift lobby's . To follow instructions as per the Manager/Supervisor . To ensure that function room toilets are serviced if room is in use While this role is generally evening work, there may be times when the candidate may have to work the day time shift from 7am - 2.30pm to cover holidays. The ideal candidate for this role should have: Previous experience either as an Accommodation Assistant or in public area cleaning is essential Should be able to work from 2.30pm daily, but should be flexible in their working hours Should have excellent communication skills - fluent in English Must be available to work weekends and public holidays Must be a team player and assist colleagues Working hours between 31-39 hours a week Benefits of working in The Rose Hotel: Free carparking Provided with uniform Meal on duty Training provided Access to the gym at designated times Free tea/coffee
