Job Introduction As a Facilities Manager at Sodexo based on site in Gallen Community School, you are also a motivational hands-on people manager who is key to providing an excellent service for our customers. You will be responsible for the site’s efficient management, continuous improvement, profitability, and operational excellence. Working closely with all stakeholders on site and proactively managing day-to-day operational issues you’ll ensure consistency in service and compliance with our contractual obligations.Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way. What You’ll Do:Manage the day-to-day operational issues across all service linesLead the on-site service caretaking and cleaning team and coordinate all suppliers/contractors on site   The scoping of works and verification of all Minor WorksOwnership of the Lifecycle Replacement program and PPM schedulesManage small works estimating and delivery programmeEnsure files and records pertaining to managed contracts and projects are kept in an orderly manner and up to dateCoordinate and manage all site inductionsTake ownership of the materials ordering processBe the operational point of contact for all on-site issuesSupport the administration of the PPP contract.Produce, prepare, and issue reports in a Word Excel or PDF formatMonitor operational deadlines and complete the appropriate follow up to ensure successEnsure safe systems of work is adhered to at all timesWhat you bring:You’ll be a strong people manager ideally with experience gained within facilities management/coordinationExperience in a client facing role is required and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.Excellent communication skills with the ability to “think on your feet” and provide solutions.Proficient IT skills, including Excel, Work and MS office.Understand and thrive on working in a busy customer focused environmentAn understanding of basic technical aspects of FM Services (hard & soft) would be desirableWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
