The Role / Location   Savills Energy & Sustainability team are looking to recruit a Sustainability Consultant to assist our clients deliver on their decarbonisation and sustainability projects.   The role will include strategically identifying optimum solutions to help  our clients achieve ESG targets, and critically evaluating the risks and opportunities associated with the solutions. The role will include close engagement with relevant service providers and utility companies to identify barriers to the adoption of solutions.   There will also be a requirement to work with the team on the Savills ESG platform, with the successful candidate working to update and develop the platform as required, and promoting it as a key service offering to clients.   The successful candidate will join a growing dynamic team, with real opportunity for development and progression.   Your permanent location will be our Dublin head office, and the role may include travel to some of our managed commercial property portfolio  and Savills offices throughout the country Key Responsibilities ·       Developing strategies for clients to achieve ESG targets in line with EU Directives and non financial reporting requirements ·       Analyse energy performance, water consumption, and other sustainability initiatives. Develop and implement action plans for operational changes. Ensure recommendations delivered by site management team and other resources. ·       Reporting and managing energy efficiency projects in line with client’s requirements. ·       Planning, completion, and write-up of operational building level audits ·       Benchmarking building performance and continuous monitoring and assessment to identify opportunities and propose alternate workable solutions. ·       Energy Capital projects return on investment and pay back to clients, delivering tangible results. ·       Project management of resources, deliverables, and budgets on projects. ·       Working with utility providers/contractors, assisting in first stage tender process, and developing contractor KPIs essential to sustainability targets. Ensuring that KPIs are achieved throughout Savills management of the site and/or project. ·       Providing advice to clients and design teams on the most cost-effective and beneficial route to compliance. ·       Client reporting and client relationship management including presentations and meetings. ·       Reporting, issuing proposals/letters of engagement, providing content for pitch documents. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience ·       Experience in the construction, operation or retrofit of buildings ·       Experience in Building Energy Rating assessments and Dynamic Thermal Modelling of buildings ·       Understanding of the specification and installation of low carbon solutions, best practices and solutions and how they can be adopted and implemented appropriately. ·       Familiar with CRREM tools and analysis ·       Understanding of and ability to apply building certification tools such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL. ·       Energy auditing experience to SI 426 standard. ·       Confident with an ability to assimilate within a team and collaborate fully to help develop the business. ·       Ability to work within a fast-paced co-working team environment as well as being proactive and self-sufficient to meet deadlines. ·       Competent in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Windows applications ·       Excellent report writing, presentation & communication skills. ·       Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary. ·       High level of energy with lots of drive and enthusiasm  Requirements ·       Degree in or Post Graduate qualification in architecture, construction engineering building physics, mechanical/ electrical/ building services engineering or equivalent. ·       Experience in the practical application of building physics, building science principles, modelling, design or specification of buildings.
