Our circular services help clients stay focused on their core business while allowing them to reduce their environmental footprint.  The role     The Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operations in the Tallaght site including, ensuring and improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the site, using KPI's. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 200+ staff and and have the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of the Tallaght plant.   You will be part of a team, who all have a role to play to drive the operational standards in the plant. This role is fast paced, about multi tasking effective, no 2 days are the same. It will be the responsibility of the Operations Manager to ensure that the plant is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers.   Key Responsibilities          Planning and managing the plants overall day to day operations i.e Production, Distribution, Customer Service.        Staff management, building people and motivating for results, HR, strategic planning & training        A continuous focus at ensuring performance according to the targets and focusing on growth. Implement efficiencies in the plant and its operation        Ensure that the plant is on a high operational level and at the same time balances the long term strategic goals in order to maintain the market position        Manage and support health and safety on site        Manage Quality Systems, ISO & RABC in the site.        Provide and produce weekly reports and data on all aspects of operations on site        Customer focused with attention to detail for customer requirements        Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost   A full induction and training plan will be drawn up and communicated with you on commencement of this role. You will have to be flexible in the role.   Education and Qualifications          Ideally degree level qualification in business administration/engineering or operations management or professional recognition in a relevant discipline.   Knowledge and Skills         Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role - min 3 + years.         Demonstrable knowledge of organisation effectiveness, best management practices and project management.        Strong interpersonal skills, a vision for success, and the ability to take responsibility, coach, develop and mentor.        Demonstrable track record in driving the best out of people whilst at the same time managing to agreed / business deadlines Person Specification        Strong strategic - operational focus        Business acumen        Motivated and result driven        Builds and encourages the team        Leads the push for growth        Drives customer and commercial improvements
