If that sounds like you, then apply today.   The role requires a candidate who will: Collect, analyze, and distribute industry and market information and provide ongoing sourcing support. Assist with the identification of potential import products and suppliers. Travel for supplier visits and trade shows. Guide suppliers through the evaluation and onboarding processes. Provide input on and update/develop International Procurement processes.      Key Accountabilities : Monitor and evaluate the performance of import product suppliers against contractual expectations. Provide reports to Sysco Corporate & Non-US Operating Companies on findings of evaluations of global suppliers Provide input regarding processes and updates as directed to maximize the efficiency of International Procurement. Design, conduct and synthesize insightful industry and market research in relation to global products. Establish processes and standards for developing and maintaining industry, import products, and local market knowledge and reports. Establish processes and standards for developing and maintaining contacts with commercial attaches, industry experts, and import product specialists. Initiate contact with potential global product suppliers and modify lists of suppliers as necessary. Request product samples from potential global product suppliers. Identify new or untapped global product suppliers. Travel to international trade shows, participate in scheduled meetings with potential global product suppliers and identify new product or supplier opportunities. Write trip reports about facility visits and trade show observations.     Requirements : Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University. Three to five years of experience managing projects required. International experience preferred. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) Travel: considerable international travel is required - 50-75 per cent of the time.      Core Competencies : Understanding Your Customers - acts as a role model in personal approach to internal and external customer goals.
