We have a new opportunity for a Junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work with a leading building contractor. This role can be based in Co Galway or Co Sligo. Responsibilities: Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing and submitting accurate cost estimates, budgets, and reports for construction projects.Supporting the Quantity Surveyor in procuring materials and subcontractors.Assisting in the preparation and submission of payment applications and invoices.Supporting in the management of contract variations and claims.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contract specifications.Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of projects.Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Requirements: 3rd Level Qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics or similar.Strong IT Skills.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively under own initiative and as part of a team.Should be honest, flexible and hardworking.Full Driver’s Licence.
