Microbiology Analyst - Product Testing

Job DescriptionWe currently have a very exciting opportunity for a Microbiology Analyst to join our Eurofins team in Dungarvan. This role will be based within our Product testing team and the main responsibilities will include Quality Control testing of pharmaceutical samples. Some of the other day to day duties include:To perform routine and non-routine analysis, as requested by the laboratory.To prepare and approve results for tests in which they are deemed competent.To deal with customer queries and telephone significant results to customers.To revise SOPs as required by the laboratory.To be responsible for up dating any relevant documentation when requested.To identify any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement.To participate in the company’s weekend rota and/or overtime schedule including early start / late finish as required.QualificationsA degree in microbiology or a related disciplineAt least 2 years microbiology testing experience in a GMP laboratoryExperience with Bioburden, MLT and Sterility testingGood team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skillsPassionate about quality and customer serviceGood communication skills both internally and externallyAdditional InformationEurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable.
