Location: Blanchardstown, DUB, Ireland Type: Permanent Job #25136 Our client is an international software R&D company delivering cutting edge solutions and multiple software products in the MedTech / MedDevice sector. They are currently hiring an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in a hybrid role in Dublin You will join the company’s Agile Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding automated test cases and suites within their framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation tools, .NET environments, and Agile methodologies, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Job Ref: BBBH 25136 Location: Dublin Employment Type: Permanent Workplace: Hybrid in Dublin, 3 days onsite their offices in D15 Responsibilities: Develop, document, and automate test case scenarios in coordination with the Product Owner and manual QA. Troubleshoot test failures in Continuous Integration pipelines, resolving issues or escalating for application fixes as needed. Collaborate within an Agile scrum team to identify suitable test cases for automation and implement them within the company’s Automation Framework. Contribute ideas, experiences, and best practices to expand the company’s Automation Framework in collaboration with the test automation team. Ensure release candidates meet the company’s high-quality standards through comprehensive test cycles. Record all testing-related actions and communications in the company’s tracking system. Continuously enhance expertise in product usage, industry trends, training, and technical writing, while mentoring other testers. You should have: 2+ years of experience working with test automation tools (Selenium, SmartBear Suite, Cucumber, Specflow, Appium, NUnit) Experience in creating and maintaining automated test cases. Experience in an Agile environment. Proficient in SQL. Programming/scripting skills with one of C#, Java, Python, Perl. An IT-related qualification. Good communication skills. Nice to have: Experience in the optical industry or similar. Experience testing REST API’s. Mobile application experience would be a plus. Continuous Integration experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
