Assistant Stores Manager

We also offer market-leading asset management and long-term operation and maintenance and wind turbine gear repair and refurbishment services.  We are looking for an Assistant Stores Manager to join our team and embark on an exciting journey of growth and development within our organisation. Responsibilities: Ensuring store is tidy and free from clutter at all times. Maintaining stock levels and records Maintain a clean and well organised back store area To receive and check stock in line with company guidelines. T aking order requests from technicians in the field Ensure stock is packed and distributed to sites in line with company guidelines. To rotate stock appropriately minimising waste To be always vigilant to prevent stock loss and waste. To conduct stock takes as instructed by Store Manager To take care for your health & safety and that of your colleagues and customers and take action to reduce risks and hazards. Delivery and collection of parts to on-site locations as required. Any other duties as directed by the Store Manager Requirements: Full clean driving licence essential Exposure to and a basic understanding of mechanical or electrical components in a previous role would be a distinct advantage. Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Fork Truck licence and safe pass desirable Ability to work on own initiative. Previous experience of working in a busy stores area would be an advantage.
