Linen Porter - Part Time Position

Job Description As a Linen Porter, you are responsible for counting, distributing Linen, cleaning carpets, public area floors and replenishing amenities to deliver an excellent Guest experience. You would also be required to manage guest requests.  About The Role Main Duties & Responsibilities Places linen and towels on trollies for transport to laundry. Sort's items and counts and records number of items soiled. Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and service ability. Stores laundered linen and on shelves after verifying numbers and types of articles. Issues linen and towels which are both to be exchanges on a clean-for-soiled basis only. Periodic inventories of linen. Ensure that the linen is neatly and systematically arranged and stacked. Receives, sorts and double checks conditions of all linen and towels, records all outgoing and incoming from the laundry thoroughly before storing and issuing. Hoover the corridors and filled up stationary cupboards, make sure they are clean and tidy. Cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms to company standards Undertaking regular deep cleaning tasks. Managing guest request in timely and efficient manners Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position. Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines Be environmentally aware Dispose of waste accordingly Carry out lost property procedures Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships Follow the Standard Operating Procedures and security protocol Acting as a point of contact for guest queries To ensure good working relationship with all other departments Work flexible hours in accordance with the departmental rota Skills Needed Hospitality About The Company The Gallen Hospitality group is comprised of three 4-star, family-run hotels located in Ballybofey and Gweedore, Co Donegal.Owned by the Gallen family, the Villa Rose Hotel was established in the year 2000 and is comprised of 57 bedrooms, state of the art spa facility and has been consistently named Ireland’s top hotels in the Tripadvisor Traveller’s choice awards.In 2016, the Gallen family added Jackson’s Hotel to their offering.
