OverviewWe are recruiting an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Carrigaline on a specified purpose contract with approximate duration of 9 months. ResponsibilitiesPrimary Accountabilities:Responsible for processing invoices and ensuring payment is within credit termsReview outstanding goods receipts report and investigate outstanding balancesDealing with external vendors daily regarding payments, statements and problems arisingMeeting internally with colleagues across departments to resolve accounts payable issuesCompletion of key tasks/reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reporting at month endCompletion of monthly vendor reconciliations for Key VendorsExercise internal controls to maintain compliance with financial policies and Global ControlStandards and actively review same for continued complianceDeal with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance of audits and statutory requirementsPreparation of documentation and analysis of current processes with a view to standardization, automation & eliminationActively investigate and understand best practice looking for new opportunities to implement/develop these into the PepsiCo Ireland Controls & Reporting TeamExplore opportunities to drive efficiencies and improved KPI’s through automation and process improvementsMaintain and develop best practice documentation on processes within your remitInvolvement with the Company’s efforts to ensure compliance with all commercial, company, environmental, safety and other legislationA requirement of the role is that you must adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements QualificationsEssential Skills:Minimum of 2 years proven demonstrated track record in a busy Accounts Payable environment, ideally multi-national focusedExposure to and working knowledge of SAP or Oracle is desiredGood time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, particularly at month end.Strong team player with good communication skills, who can interact with other departments and managementSelf-sufficient with the ability and desire to work efficiently and productively in a multi-task environment dailyAbility to identify opportunities and manage change programs - to streamline/ reengineer existing processes and influence people to implement themAbility to identify issues on a timely basis, identify an action plan to resolve issues and influence others to implement the action plan.Very customer focused – deliver against Service Level agreement commitments Who We are:​We are a Manufacturing Unit in PepsiCo, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi.​We are a global organization offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR and IT.​We are passionate about creating and delivering much-loved household brands to markets across the world.​At PepsiCo, opportunity is for everyone:Recognised as a Great Place to Work in Ireland, PepsiCo fosters a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion with acceptance and respect for all employees. ​‘A space to be you’ is our initiative that creates a collaborative, equitable and inclusive space where everyone, regardless of what we look like, where we come from or who we love, has a voice.​PepsiCo is a supportive work environment that provides a sense of community for employees.
