We are currently recruiting for an Onboarding professional, at Associate Director level, to join our dynamic workplace here at Carne Group. The role offers the new starter the opportunity for career progression in a growing company.What are the minimum requirements for the role? Minimum 8-10 years’ experience working in the funds industry;Project management skills essential along with ability to run simultaneous projects;Fluency in English is essential, other languages advantageous i.e., French, German or Mandarin;Excellent knowledge of UCITS and AIF Fund structures (both regulated and unregulated), and knowledge of Lux legal structures is a prerequisite;Thorough understanding of Management Company / AIFM structures required.What is your role and your responsibilities? Ensure proper and adequate procedures are in place to ensure Funds are taken on in a timely and risk-controlled manner;Tailor project plans to the relevant Fund structure, maintain and track progress through the project plan;Ensure effective communication with all relevant internal functions in relation to onboarding, e.g., Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations etc.;Ensure initial due diligence on delegates is performed and liaise with the Oversight team to complete in a timely manner;Present new client to the Luxembourg Approval Committee for initial approval and ensure any queries from the Committee are resolved, and on completion of all risk assessments, AML / KYC checks and Due Diligence, present to the Approval committee for final sign off completion;Coordinate weekly project calls with all parties, manage deliverables and ensure closure of action points;Involvement in the development of Carne systems and technology to enhance onboarding processes with the objective of delivering a “ready to go” operating model;Be highly knowledgeable on the various Carne products and utilise cross selling opportunities during the onboarding process;Participate in client pitches and develop strong relationship with Sales team;Seek out additional client opportunities;Where relevant, co-ordinate Client on site visits to Carne during the onboarding phase;Coordinate operational implementation with delegates i.e., Administrator/ Depositary, Investment Manager and Distributor – ensure SLAs and processes are agreed before launch and signed off by relevant internal departments;Coordinate operational implementation within the Carne teams;Keep up to date with regulatory change impacting Fund / Management Company / AIFM structures and assist in the development of new procedures / processes where required;Ensure the global onboarding team are informed of any local regulatory change / change in internal process that could impact client onboarding;Participate in training and mentoring of new team members.What Competencies do you require? Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently while supporting the overall goals of the team;Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and competent in dealing with Senior project sponsors;Excellent project management skills and can manage several priorities concurrently;Results driven and proactive in problem solving;Excellent Client service skills, client focused and delivers work to an exceptionally high standard.Who is Carne Group?
