Afternoon cleaner

Neylons Facility Management is currently recruiting an afternoon cleaner to work as part of a team in a school environment in Wexford. This is a permanent position with an immediate start date. Monday to Friday 16:30-19:30 there will be some flexibility required. ( 15 hours per week) The Company Neylons is a Facility Management Company providing services all over Ireland and UK. Job Description Undertake general cleaning of areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, residents' apartments, etc. Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors and walls Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal Wash windows, walls and ceilings Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean, and supplies are replenished when required Organised necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilities Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes Undertake other routine tasks such as hosing down the forecourt and dealing with recycling Undertake any other duties as requested Requirements Experience in a similar role desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided Good working knowledge of English Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
