Your new companyYou will be working for a world-leading global bank. They have approximately 200 million customer accounts and a presence in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions worldwide. They provide consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management. This is an initial 6-month contract and 3 days a week in the office in North Wall Dublin 1.Your new roleAs a Company Secretary, you will be assisting the Belfast Company Secretarial team manager in capacity and resource planning, training and performance management and acting as a point of escalation for junior team members. The role would also involve balancing a portfolio of typical Board/Committee governance and legal entity management activities such as meeting administration, signatory and Power of Attorney management, company filings and responding to regulatory or audit information requests.What you'll need to succeedPrevious Company Secretarial experience essentialExperience in financial services in either in-house or experience working with financial services clients, would be an advantage.Minute-taking skills are essential.Meeting management skills are essential.Works well as part of a multi-jurisdictional team and the ability to travel if requiredWhat you'll get in returnCompetitive daily rateHybrid roleOpportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentOpportunity to develop your skills and experience
