Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) Nurse Manager required as an Older Persons and Fragility specialist for Adults with Intellectual disabilities.  Fixed Term Contract ( 1 year )   Saint John of God Community Services, Dublin South East Services are now inviting applications for the post of Nurse Manager CNM2   We are seeking applications from interested and energetic people to lead out on an exciting pilot project within Saint John of God Dublin South East. Dublin South East provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in South Dublin . This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned service in the intellectual disability sector. We are funded by the HSE and as such the role is within the public service and subject to annual increments, generous annual leave, and pensions. The successful candidate will be flexible, innovative, and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the changing needs for adults with intellectual disabilities in the areas of aging and fragility.   Role Summary The successful candidate will work closely across Residential and day service locations and work closely in conjunction with the management teams, the multi-disciplinary teams, and the Dementia teams.   This is a 39 hour a week post, working Monday to Friday. However, working cover may be required at times either in the evenings and/or at the weekend. Minimum Requirements The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:         Be on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and preferably RNID trained with 3 years' experience in ID.          Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards, New Directions, and all other relevant legislation as well as relevant social care models.         Experience in the area of Intellectual disabilities is essential.         Familiar with the developments in older health, and fragility for adults with intellectual disabilities in terms research in particular the TILDA studies.          Experience of working with adults with intellectual disabilities with Dementia.         Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills and change management and auditing skills.         A flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of the service         A vision for change management and innovative   Remuneration Salary DOH Scale 2119, salary scale €58,485 - €73,904   Location The location of this role is Dublin South East . However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
