The New Relic Customer Adoption organization champions our technical direction and vision, as well as promoting and advocating new product direction on behalf of our customers.The VP of Customer Adoption is a leadership role within our EMEA region. The role is the key (technical) partner for the Chief Customer Officer and will be a key member of the extended global GTM leadership team. This role is pivotal to driving customer usage and engagement (revenue), team development and being our representative for our brand as our technical leader of the region by owning the key CRR growth and adoption metrics across all customer segments for the region and will be a high profile advocate and driver of technical execution excellence in all countriesThe EMEA region is a high growth opportunity for New Relic but it has a complex mix of countries and cultures to navigate, which requires an experienced technical leader, with the right blend of strategic, organizational and business skills with a focus on commercial outcomes. The successful candidate will lead a culturally diverse team and have accountability for recruitment, development and retention of the regional organization! What you'll do Build a strategic plan to support growth goals for the region, aligning closely with SVP APJDrive scaled growth within the Customer Adoption team to support and help deliver upon the company and GEO targets by driving CRR (consumption) by leading and driving all activities for our APJ Customer Adoption teamLead and develop a team distributed across three regions including leaders and scale for growthPartner with Sales teams to strategize how to sell to prospects and customersDrive value led customer interactions to drive sustainable usage of our platformHelp guide the team in Customer Adoption (CA) to focus on increasing the number of engineers and teams who use New Relic at our sales-led customers, maturing their Observability practice, and helping them instrument more of their estateWork with cross-functional team leaders to align Customer Adoption strategy across the companyManage recruiting, hiring, team performance feedback, and mentorProvide reporting on sales activities, customer initiatives, and product requirementsSupport your team by participating in and leading customer or prospect meetings; engaging other corporate resources as requiredConduct weekly and monthly pipeline, ACR and CRR reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best practice sharing This role requires + years of technical sales experience with at least + years experience in people management across first and second-line management.International experience Successful track record to partner with enterprise sales leaders to drive significant revenue growthStrong track record of working in a customer-facing environment and driving initiatives to improve customer happinessProven experience in leading and completing cross-functional corporate initiativesEye for detail and strong ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environmentExcellent prioritization, organizational, and project management skillsSpecific experience in a SaaS and/or Consumption focussed business Excellent communication, critical thinking & analytical skills Bonus points if you have Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent Fostering a diverse, welcoming and inclusive environment is important to us.
