Production Team Leader/Deputy Supervisor — Split Shift.

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader/Deputy Supervisor role for our site in Birr, Co. Offaly. The Production Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that the production facility runs efficiently. This involves the management of product and staff to ensure the hourly targets set are achieved or exceeded. The Production Team Leader will support the Production Supervisor / Manager in delivering the Business and Customer requirements in full and on time. Key Responsibilities:   Monitoring of Machine / Operator performance against the targets set. Liaise with staff / maintenance if targets not been met and address the issues. Manage and motivate production operators in all areas ensuring targets are met / exceeded.   Ensure sufficient product is fed to all production lines to ensure the plant runs efficiently.   Recording of the hourly output figures and other machine data on the sheets provided.   Liaise with Despatch, Distribution, and In-check departments to determine the product lines required and schedule work / plan accordingly.    Manage staff and break times to ensure lines are covered and relevant machinery is kept running to meet orders / deadlines.   Manage Rags and Rewash items and ensure all are recorded on the sheets provided.   Be proactive on Health and Safety and in identifying and reporting of Safety Observations and Near Misses.   Ensure the facility standards and housekeeping are kept to Audit standards at all times. All relevant paperwork to be kept up to date.    Key Skills: Good organisation skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks as required. Good problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels in the business. Full Training and Manual Handling Training will be provided. Weekend and bank holiday work will be required occasionally.
