The Company: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Store Manager to work for a global homewares company, responsible for managing the day to day running of the Outlet Shop, ensuring sales and profit targets are achieved. Main Duties To manage, motivate staff, recruit staff, train and develop staff, according to company policies. To ensure Employment laws and relevant HR procedures are followed, e.g. appraisal etc. To be responsible for completing paperwork required by Head Office efficiently and accurately and meeting all deadlines. To manage upkeep and condition of all equipment, fixtures and fabric of shop premises. To develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to company approval. Performance reviews. To be responsible for stock, deliveries and pricing. To control and report stock markdowns. To manage and motivate Sales Advisors in supporting you to achieve the sales and profit targets To manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies. To manage costs and overheads and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the shop, e.g. Utility bills, overtime etc. To plan and implement shop merchandising, as to maximise sales, customer satisfaction, appearance and brand image.
