Dispatch supervisor - Arrabawn Co Op Business Sector :              Manufacturing - Ingredients Location:                            Nenagh, Co Tipperary. Reporting to:                    Operations Manager Role:  Management of the Dispatch and Warehouse functions. The position acts as a key liaison between the Warehouse, Commercial, Production, Quality and Accounts departments in relation to stock control, management, and release. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:         Manage and support the overall administration of the dispatch and warehouse function.         Management of Dispatch Administrator and two warehouse operatives.         Manage TMS system for subordinates.         Manage daily transfer of stock to external warehouses and in turn optimize the haulers for return loads such as pallets, lactose, packaging.         Attend the Daily Production meeting, Weekly Commercial meeting and Monthly Quality and H&S meetings.         Forecast weekly call offs. Assist with production plan and raise any potential issues to meet customer requirements. Upload POS to soft-trace as received from Commercial department.         Work with Lab for timely issuing of COA's and product release.         Respond to emails in a timely and respectful fashion as the customer representative of Arrabawn.         Manage accuracy of Stock on Soft-trace and have a thorough working knowledge of Soft-trace Inventory system.         Understand and comply with regulations for the dispatch of Cat 3, waste, and animal feed by-products.         Book in delivery of product ingredients into stock and ensure all invoices are signed off.         Manage Pallet ordering and deliveries.         Troubleshoot and escalate any IT issues effectively.         Be familiar with customer specification and Purchase Order requirements and know the information to look out for such as export documentation and special requirements.         Understand the Project Newton procedure for ORNUA butter containers to Europe.         Develop best practice for warehouse and dispatch area including SOP'S, Risk assessments, new systems etc.          Summarise product for yearend tidy up of stock - e.g. product to debag for blender         Assist with Internal and External audits as required.         Contribute to H&S and food safety conversations.         Report accidents / near misses on Dulan reporting system.         Assist with yearend stock take.          Perform performance review of staff.         Other adhoc duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES         Experience in a similar warehouse/dispatch role preferable but full training will be provided.         Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of Softtrace Inventory system, Excel, MS Word and Powerpoint is desirable.         Excellent oral and written communication skills.         Ability to analyze, understand and solve problems daily in a timely fashion.         Excellent organizational / time management skills.         Excellent customer relations - (track record od same)         High motivation, flexibility, and ability to work on own initiative.         Team-worker with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a continuous improvement mind-set.         Fluency in English, written and Oral.
