Non-Life Reserving Actuary

A market-leading consultancy is seeking a Non-Life Reserving Actuary to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a reserving role and knowledge of Irish and UK markets. The Non-Life Reserving Actuary position provides a flexible working structure and a competitive package.About the Reserving Actuary PositionThe Reserving Actuary role will provide exposure to a broad range of client reserving projects and will involve managing projects and workstreams from conception through to delivery. Day to day client communication and junior colleague management will also be involved in this position.Duties for this role include (but are not limited to): Client relationship and project managementContributing to major reserving projects Producing reports for senior management Collaborating with other teams and developing and mentoring junior staff members Actuarial Skills RequiredThe Non-Life Reserving Actuary role would suit a Nearly Qualified Actuary from a Non-Life background. Candidates will ideally have experience of the following: Reserving and reserving techniquesExcel and VBA, with R and SQL an advantageExcellent communication skills and experience working independently, cross-functionally, and within teamsStrong writing skills
