We are currently recruiting for a Full & Part-Time Kitchen Porter  for Seapoint Golf Links, Seapoint, Golf Links, Newtown, Termonfeckin, Co. Louth. Overview Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter will be responsible for the execution and upkeep of kitchen hygiene and cleaning practices and for minimizing the wastage of chemicals in the kitchen. The Kitchen Porter should ensure hygiene, health and safety standards, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) records are adhered to and documented daily. Full pre-opening training, including skills training, and all other statutory training, will be provided. Must be available to work evening shifts and weekends.   Key Responsibilities Constantly maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in the kitchen.   Taking full responsibility that HACCP standards are met.   Ensures compliance with chemical training and proper usage of chemicals. Ensure all deliveries are checked, records are filled in, and safely stored. Keep all fire exits and walkways clear and clean. Maintain good stock rotation in all fridges, freezers and dry goods areas. Ensure the cold room is swept and mopped at the end of each service. Pot wash / wash up area to be continuously cleared. Maintain the kitchen and delivery yard's waste management and recycling programme. Follow the daily cleaning schedule plan on all kitchen equipment and in the general area of the kitchen. Assist chefs in the set up of daily procedures for service & functions as required by the Head Chef - i.e. all plates and crockery to be washed and placed in correct sections, ready for daily service.   Key Requirements Must have a good level of English Must be a team player Must have legal working rights Benefits Car Parking On-Site.
