Lifeguard - Leisure Centre Attendant

Awarded a 'Great Place to Work' in December 2023 - 2024 and Green Hospitality Certified.   We are seeking to hire a full-time, permanent Lifeguard - Leisure Centre Attendant to join our Leisure Centre team. The successful candidate will report to the Leisure Centre Manager, the team manages the leisure centres in both the Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa and the Killarney Towers Hotel. The successful candidate must have the NPLQ or the RLSS qualification or equivalent. What you'll do: Provide the Plaza Hotel & Spa and the Killarney Towers Hotels customers with a friendly, safe and positive experience while using the leisure centres. Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times. Carry out leisure attendant duties on-site including lifeguarding the pool area. Be flexible regarding your availability, the ability to work midweek and weekends is required. Good communication skills and fluency in the English language is essential.  Work as part of a team and be enthusiastic, hardworking and self-driven. A keen interest in the leisure industry is an advantage. Ensure the health and safety of customers at all times. Maintain high standards of supervision while performing lifeguard duties as required by the Pool Supervisor. Uphold high standards of pool cleanliness and hygiene.   About you: The successful candidate must have the NPLQ or the RLSS qualification or equivalent. You must be fluent in the English language. Have previous experience working as a Lifeguard or attendant, ideally in the Hospitality industry.   Why O'Donoghue Ring Collection?
