Technical NPI Manager

The core activity in terms of new business introduction involves, engaging with Category to identify new business opportunities, supporting a Make v Buy proposal for the selected products, completing a detailed cost benefit analysis via a site impact assessment (SIA) and coordinating the implementation of the launch in the event the site being successful in their bid. Key Responsibilities : Lead the New Product Introduction Programe for the site and ensure all new process are introduced in line with DFM & PUCC principles and ensure a Site Impact Assessment (SIA) is completed for all NPI’s with input from all the key SME’s and stakeholders. Engage with the various stakeholders on & above site to ensure a clearly defined brief is matched with an accurate estimate of cost, time and resource for implementation. Lead the prioritisation and selection of projects to be implemented and capture resource requirement, milestones and savings via SLT endorsed SIA.  Manage key internal & external stakeholders including Category Supply Chain, Manufacturing Strategy, Portfolio Optimisation. Project manage a cross functional team to execute approved projects and capture benefits. Ensure Technical Risk Assessments (TRA) are implemented in conjunction with R&D before NPIs are transferred to the site and ensure a Product Control Strategy is in place for all NPI before the product is transferred to the site Support Value Engineering and Procurement initiatives as part of each NPI introduction. Identify training needs of Technical NPI and ensure training plans are put in place to address these needs and ensure development plans are in place for key team members. Feed into of the Process Prioritization listing to ensure all functions have appropriate visibility of timelines NPI activities from both an operational capacity requirements / support resource requirements (QC/Reg/etc). Lead site monthly Technical Review meeting, weekly Technical NPI Team Meetings Ensure Halal requirements are met in accordance with General Guidelines of Halal Assurance System LPPOM MUI for applicable Medical Device products/ markets.
