Bar Manager

The O'Donoghue Ring Collection is recruiting for an experienced Bar Manager for the O' Donoghue Public House, located in the heart of Killarney Town Centre. This busy bar is a favourite of locals and tourists alike the newly renovated O'Donoghue Public House is a modern take on the traditional Irish pub, rooted in the authentic traditions that characterise the hallmark of Ireland's world-famous pub culture, seamlessly blended with a contemporary approach to the decor, food and drink experience. O' Donoghue Public House is open 7 days a week, serving food all day and has live music every night. What you'll do:   You will manage the day to day operations of O'Donoghue Public House, managing a small team. Update yourself constantly with modern trends to build business Passionate about recipes, cutting edge cocktails and be an innovator in your Bar. Approachable with excellent people and communication skills. You will work with your team to increase the Food & Beverage sales Ability to work within financial boundaries and desire to run a profitable business. Management and development of the team insuring learning and development is at the core. Ensure all service standards are consistent and maintained to the highest level at all times. Work closely with the Kitchen and the Head Chef to ensure timing, quality and safety is always adhered to. Support and deliver training to team members and actively develop the skills and knowledge of the department as a whole. Interact professionally with all guests issues and implement corrective action About you: A minimum of 2/3 years experience in a management role in a similar environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to work under pressure. Highly customer and management focused. Excellent communication skills with proficient spoken & Written English. Ability to calmly lead your team.
