The MDU focuses on taking potential marketable products from Research through product registration and approval.MD IDS focuses on the MDU business needs of the future, enabling improvements through information and technology solutions. The teams define and influence information and business strategies, design and develop solutions to achieve the strategic outcomes, and ensure reliable deployment and support of these solutions.The role of the Clinical Data Support Engineer serves as the primary point of contact to support and improve electronic Clinical Outcomes Assessment (eCOA) SaaS Platform. If you are someone who has a blend of technical and soft skills and is open to wide-ranging responsibilities—this role will be a great fit for you!This position will report to the Clinical Results Platform Manager/Team Leader.Key Objectives/Deliverables:Applied knowledge of IT Service Management and implementation experience, encompasses all the processes, procedures.Assisting study teams with diagnose and tracking of defects within the eCOA SaaS platform.Manage vendors – release management, documentation, product roadmap, backlog prioritization.Assisting study teams with life cycle promotions (DEV, QA & PROD).Ensure security consistency across studies in the SaaS platform.Assist study teams with data mapping, data integration, reporting and data exports.Develops in-depth business knowledge and strong relationships with business partners.Produces & maintains project documentation as required, including that of Computer Systems Quality.Provides and ensures effective impact analysis of platform changes, with consistency and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures for architecture, data, integrations, and processes.Uses standardized processes for requirements definition, analysis, design, construct, and test activitiesModifies existing systems or integrates packaged systems with existing infrastructure to meet business requirementsEnsures Lilly information assets are protected from malicious content and access to information is restricted to authorized personnel only.Creation and execution of scripts to enable job controls within the SaaS platformEducation Requirements:Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer science, information technology, or management information systems.Basic Requirements:Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experienceDemonstrated learning agility both technically as well as business processes and applicationsDemonstrated initiative to build relationships, learn new business processes and identify opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to influence peers and business partnersDemonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and either resolve or escalate to the appropriate level for resolutionStrong problem-solving skillsGood communication skills (written/oral)Process improvement skillsOrganization skillsSelf-managementCuriosity about business and IT processesDemonstrated ability to evaluate, facilitate, and drive towards risk-based decision makingAdditional Preferred Requirements:Experience with the clinical trial business process.ITIL v4 Foundations certification or additional ITIL v4 certifications.Experience with tools such as Jira, and HP ALMClinical research experience/knowledgeTechnical proficiency with eDC (electronic data capture), HTML, Data Mapping, understanding of database structures, ETL, etc.1 year experience programing with Node.js and JSON.Experience with NoSQL database like MongoDB and DynamoDB.Has worked with organizations that provide software-as-a-service (SaaS).Experience with mobile development.Other Information:Travel to US or other Lilly entities may be required.Lilly does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.#WeAreLilly
