Associate Preschool Teacher – 2024-2025

Position Details QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent; OR a valid classroom CDA credentialFirst Aid and CPR Certified, or willingness to obtainNegative TB test within the last yearObtain CPI certification, training to be providedPrior experience with preschool preferred but not requiredWorking knowledge of best practice strategiesAbility to implement instructional activities in coordination with classroom teacherAbility to provide and maintain an orderly classroom environment with classroom teacherOrganize and assist teaching staff in preparing for daily lessons, including preparation and organization of instructional materialsAbility to communicate effectively with parents, staff members, and studentsAbility to collaborate as a team member that includes general education and special education staffPass background checkDemonstrated Technical Skills Keyboarding, internet, and emailFamiliarity with student information systemsExperience with Microsoft Office including Word and ExcelGoogle applications including Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and SlidesPossess computer competency and familiarity with emerging technologies For further information, please see the attached posting or visit our website at www.clare.k12.mi.us.
