Senior Business Analyst

itContracting are seeking applications for a Senior Business Analyst, this is a long-term day rate contract located in Dublin 1.Requirements: Support Finance SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and the Product Owner in providing our third-party developer / implementor with the information and data that they need to configure and test the system in a timely and efficient manner.Contribute to the design and rollout of Finance business processes aligned with Financial best practice.Assist and support drawing up of test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps, assisting with their development, execution of test plans and recording of results.Assist in ensuring the smooth transition to new functions/processes that are identified during project phases working closely with system end users.Assist and document system problems and resolutions for future reference.Assist with the development and maintain system support standards and procedures and other documentation as required e.g., system troubleshooting guides / how to manuals.Collaborate closely with developers and Finance SMEs throughout the project lifecycle.Assist with developing the training materials that will support all end users to facilitate the change from the existing Finance system to the new. Experience required to deliver the service: Experience in using a Finance ERP system with experience of Microsoft Business Central Finance system being an advantage but not essential.Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.Experience documenting test plans, executing tests and recording results.Strong organisational and time management/planning skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.Experience working with third party suppliers and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.Experience in using Microsoft Azure DevOps for project tracking and test execution.Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
