Job Description We're looking for a software engineering test leader with a genuine interest in delivering quality embedded products.. You will play a key role in growing our team and ensuring our next line of communication devices are developed with the highest quality. Your leadership and technical skills will be crucial in helping us deliver practical, advanced technology to our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Lead the development and implementation of the overall software testing strategy for two-way radio products and featuresWork closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and casesDefine and establish best practices for various testing methodologiesLead a team in a multi-site, world-wide development environmentUnderstand secure programming practices to create mission critical and reusable softwareParticipation in peer review processes to maintain high standards of code qualityDevelop intellectual property associated with software products and featuresFinding, tracking, and repairing RTOS device software defectsContribute to the improvement of existing mature software development processesDrive improvements of existing mature software development processesBasic RequirementsBachelor's Degree required; major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering ​Significant experience / Team Leadership Experience Preferred Skills:Experience in real-time embedded softwareStrong communication and problem solving skillsExperience using version control; Git is a plusExperience with Linux is a plusExperience in communications protocols (USB, TCP/IP, BT, LTE, WiFi) is a plusExperience with the use of test equipment such as logic analyzers, serial data analyzers, oscilloscopes etc.) is a plusExperience with Agile frameworks and regression testingFamiliarity with automated testing methodologiesFamiliarity of test management SW (e.g. ALM) In return for your expertise, we’ll support you in this new challenge with coaching & development every step of the way.
