We the RecruitNet team are hiring a  Medical Scientist - Immunology  for a leading Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.  Key Responsibilities To assume professional accountability for every facet of the position holder's own work. To take part in the prompt and accurate processing of all specimens brought into the laboratory, following the guidelines established by the department head or designee. To take part in maintaining apparatus and equipment in the laboratory. To assist in keeping accurate records of all laboratory test results conducted either in-house by the laboratory or by an outside laboratory on its behalf. To make sure that, in compliance with the most recent Health and Safety at Work laws, all appropriate safety measures and safeguards are in place to offer a secure workplace for everyone who is required to be in the laboratory. To have knowledge of pertinent health and safety laws. Requirements Must be CORU Registered have an honors Bachelor of Science (Applied Science) degree with a biomedical concentration from the Dublin Institute of Technology, located on Kevin Street, University of Dublin; or hold the Joint University College Cork - Cork Institute of Technology Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biomedical Science degree; or hold the Medical Laboratory Sciences Diploma from the Cork Institute of Technology or the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street, which was granted before 1994  Benefits Pension Scheme Ongoing training and development supports Flexible working Free staff parking Excellent orientation and support  Progression opportunities within the Hospital Requirements immunology CORU Interpersonal Skills medical scientist Quality Of Care Regulatory Requirements
