We’re recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team, specialising in ESG Reporting. We’re looking for Accountants with 4 years PQE, good industry knowledge and experience implementing change to business processes. You will work closely with various teams across the company to ensure transparent and accurate reporting, leading on the implementation and delivery of Group and Regulatory reporting required under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at our Dublin head office. What you’ll be doingReporting to the Head of Reporting & Accounting, you will lead the Financial Reporting implementation of ESG disclosures for Group, Statutory and Regulatory reporting, and develop and implement robust systems, processes, and tools for Group ESG reporting.Key responsibilities include;• Working in collaboration with the business to design and maintain a robust set of controls over collection and reporting and ensure processes are compliant with Group requirements and documented accurately.• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sustainability data by validating sources, establishing data collection processes, and where applicable, conducting data audits.• Lead and/or support the production of annual and quarterly reporting for ESG, quantitative and qualitative requirements. • Ensure ESG disclosures and submissions are in line with requirements; signed off and submitted to Group and the Regulator in line with agreed timetables.• Support monitoring of new or emerging ESG reporting developments, and work with stakeholders to put plans in place to address.• Provide technical advice and training on ESG reporting to support the wider Finance team and other business areas.• Support the annual assurance process over ESG reporting, by maintaining well-documented audit trails and supporting papers.Your ProfileWhat we’re looking for:• Qualified accountant with 4 year PQE, assurance experience an advantage • Strong technical and industry knowledge, with understanding of ESG reporting regulations and reporting requirements, or extensive experience in similar regulatory reporting fields an advantage• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in change management and communications• Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems• Proven experience in project teams and implementing a change program of work• Strong oral communication skills and ability to influence and negotiate at all levels• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.• Proven ability to lead & motivate people, remaining calm under pressure. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions. About AXAWould you like to wake up every day driven and inspired by our noble mission and to work together as one global team to empower people to live a better life?
