We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Mechanical Engineer Building Services to join our growing team in Dublin. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. The role will focus on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Mission Critical sectors. With high levels of commitment, your responsibilities will include acting as a Lead Engineer especially at the initial stages of projects delivering high valued input to our cutting edge designs. A key part of your role will be to support and mentor your team-members. Responsibilities Responsibilities Design, Manage and Coordinate production of all Building Services systems, including HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing and Fire Protection for large scale projects. Lead the design from concept to handover Act as a SME and further develop PM Group’s design capability Attend design team meetings Conduct onsite inspections Develop and guide team working under your supervision Liaise and interact with the wider project team including designers, client and contractor Ensure that designs are in accordance with applicable codes and standards, e.g. Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations Qualifications Qualifications 10+ years’ experience in the design of Building Services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment in the pharmaceutical or allied sectors Competent in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo. Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland) preferably in Building Services or Mechanical engineering. Experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment Chartered Engineer preferred Desirable Competencies: Integrity Upholds ethics and PM Group values, demonstrate integrity as a person who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments.
