Your new company You will work with a company that has a number of business interests in Munster, well established and profitable and now seeking a full-time permanent Accountant to work with an existing book-keeper and General Manager to take full charge of the financial reporting. Your new role We are seeking a capable, competent, and reliable person with a degree of commerciality, to take charge of the companies financial reporting and support the General Manager by providing reliable financial and commercial information and advice. Preparation of monthly management accounts pack such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and cashflow outlook and forecast)Produce monthly management accounts.Maintenance of financial controls and implementation of new systems where required. Management of banking and payments.Monitoring and reporting spend on any material capital projects. Vat and P30 returns and other periodic compliance submissions.Commercial advice and support to the GM and other Heads of Departments.Ensuring the General Manger is made aware of any material departures from budgeted/forecasted KPIsPreparation of the Annual budget with the General Manager. Liaison with external accountants in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts.What you'll need to succeed You must be a Qualified Accountant with industry experience. You must have experience in financial control and reporting in an SME environment. What you'll get in return A salary of up to €70,000 with a good degree of flexibility regarding remote and on-site work.
