Who We Are: Our EU Accounts Payable Team is responsible for the core AP processes and payment systems that support Wayfair. Finance at Wayfair is tasked with delivering clean, accurate and fast financial information in a way that maximizes our business impact efficiently. Accounts Payable plays a key role in driving the accuracy, compliance and profitability that powers Wayfair's data-driven and cost-conscious culture. We are recruiting a Financial Operations Senior Analyst, to oversee and drive month end procedures, process improvements and other Accounts Payable reporting in a fast growing, high volume, product driven business. You’ll be working as part of a committed Global Supplier Financial Operations function to ensure accurate and timely compliance reporting. You will report to the Head of EU Supplier Accounts Payable and will be embedded within the Europe Finance Team.   What You’ll Do: We are looking for somebody ambitious to adapt and grow in their career, who can collaborate effectively with their immediate team and our wider Finance organisation. You'll require 2-5 years of Accounts Payable or similar background. You will be a strong communicator who can work off their own initiative, be analytical and innovative and strive to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment, while at the same time keeping an eye on process improvement and project work. You will also enjoy working as part of an international team and multicultural environment, and communicate  with a range of people and teams. Partner with the GL Accounting team and assist in accounting month-end close procedures related to Accounts Payable Perform assessments of internal controls and work to increase compliance by developing process improvement recommendations Oversee payment runs and daily payment audits and support SAP Implementation Support Supplier AP/AR and Customer AR as required Proactively train or provide training materials to in-house and third party vendors to drive a shared understanding of policy and compliance Identify and help implement process improvement and workflow efficiencies Error resolution, problem-solving, and reporting. This position will work with internal and external stakeholders, including various levels across the company Capture, evaluate and report key metrics  Ability to work with tight deadlines Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ad Hoc- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports   What You’ll Need:  2-5 years of Accounts Payable or similar experience Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or Accounting qualification preferred Excellent documentation and communication skills; fluent in English, written and verbal. Other european language an advantage  Capable of taking the initiative to drive process change and improvements Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and delivering against deadlines Analytical with strong problem-solving skills  Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements  Understanding & Experience of post-Brexit VAT rules on supply of goods  Familiarity with multi-currency transactions  Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships  Strong SQL/GBQ knowledge  Strong Excel skills required Knowledge of SAP is a plus Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Wayfair is fully committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
