STL is currently recruiting Forklift Operators ( Reach and Counterbalance) across a number of Limerick Locations: Annacotty, Castletroy & Burlington. Day and evening shifts available. Role: The prime function of this position is work with the existing team to ensure that the targets are met on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business. This is a hands on role, ideal for a person who has experience in driving forklifts in a busy day to day environment. You must adhere to an organisation's business values. As a warehouse operative, you will play your part in maintaining a good relationship with the staff, whilst supporting a culture where health and safety / hygiene and customer service is a priority. Responsibilities: Adhere to site safety rules. Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks as well as putting product away Adhere to organisation's business values and quality and customer service standards. Delivery right first time approach regarding pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped. Ensure that all instructions from you direct line manager are carried out accurately and efficiently. Checking and receiving deliveries accurately as per company SOPs. Keeping detailed records of what is in the warehouse, and where fellow staff can find specific products Ensure that stock is accurately recorded. Conduct cycle counts as required. Ensure your work area is kept clean, tidy and the doors are kept closed when not in use. Ensuring goods aren't damaged. Excellent team player with good attention to detail. Coming up with methods of optimising space in the warehouse. Good time management skills. Reporting issues and concerns to management. Experience & Skills: Previous experience as a Forklift operator in a fast paced environment is desirable. Up to date Forklift License required ( Reach and/or Counterbalance) Manual Handling Certificate would be an advantage. Strong Safety and Quality Awareness. IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite)  Good communication skills with good spoken English Flexibility regarding work hours. Energy and enthusiasm with an ability to work on own initiative.
