Neville Hotels are excited to announce the opening of their new deluxe hotel, golf course and holiday lodge resort in the well-known area of Curracloe in Wexford, overlooking the famous Curracloe beach. The hotel will have 50 bedrooms and suites, together with bar and restaurant, swimming pool and spa. 22 holiday lodges will complete the resort in 2024, which will be nestled amongst the 18-hole golf course. We are therefore seeking to recruit for an Accommodation Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate for this role will be a confident, organised person who has excellent attention to detail and excellent guest care skills. The candidate will also have a minimum of one-year previous experience as an Accommodation Supervisor and have a flexible attitude towards work patterns as the position will involve midweek and weekends shifts.   Who we are: - Our new deluxe hotel will stand alongside Neville Hotels 4* Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin, the 5* Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in Wicklow, the 4* Kilkenny River Court Hotel, and the 4* Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre in Waterford City. Deliver guest service in the Accommodation and Public Area's Department, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times. Knowledge of a computerised front office systems is required, ideally HotSoft. Assign and inspect rooms to the agreed standards. Identify and support training needs. Ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your department product, in addition to being aware of the total hotel facilities. To both lead and work as part of the team and manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures. To be knowledgeable of cleaning products and ensure team members are trained on same. To attend training sessions and hotel and departmental meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels. To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health and Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment. To report and/or take appropriate action on all maintenance issues as they arise. To report accidents/incident. To comply with agreed environmental practices, throughout the Hotel.
